Delete your Parkloop account

Last updated: 4 August 2026

You can ask us to delete your Parkloop account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to request it, what gets removed, and what we are required to keep.

Request deletion

You start the request from inside the app, then confirm it by email. Two steps on purpose: being signed in proves you have the device, and the emailed link proves you have the mailbox — so an account can never be deleted by someone who picked up an unlocked phone.

  1. Open Parkloop (or Parkloop Owner) and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Tap Delete my account.
  3. We email a confirmation link to your registered address.
  4. Open that link and confirm. Nothing is deleted until you do — the 72-hour countdown starts at this step, not before.

If you can no longer sign in — you lost access to the email address, or the app will not open — email support@parkkway.app from the address your account is registered under, with the subject “Delete my Parkloop account”, and we will action it manually.

What happens next

Changed your mind? Open the app and tap Cancel deletion on the account-deletion screen. We email you a link; opening it restores the account immediately. Cancelling is verified by email for the same reason the request was — so that only the person who owns the address can make either decision.
Close any active booking first. If you have a live booking or a vehicle still parked, exit and settle it before you delete. Your booking record is anonymised when the account is removed, and the parking operator will no longer be able to verify your vehicle at the gate.

What we have to keep

For up to 3 months after deletion we retain personal data where it is needed for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance and audit — for example, to answer a chargeback your bank raises after you have left. After 3 months it is permanently deleted.

Beyond that, Indian tax and accounting law requires us to retain records of completed transactions. We keep a de-identified record of each booking — amount, date, facility and platform fee — with your name, email, mobile number and vehicle number removed, so it can no longer be traced back to you.

Payments are processed by Razorpay, who retain their own transaction records under RBI and tax rules. That data is held by Razorpay, not by us, and is governed by their privacy policy.

This cannot be undone

Deletion is permanent. Your booking history, saved vehicles and any listings are gone for good. If you use Parkloop again afterwards you will be starting a brand-new account.

Parking owners

If you run a facility on Parkloop, your facilities are unpublished as soon as you confirm, so no driver can book a parking that is no longer operating. Existing bookings at your facility are honoured and kept — anonymised — for the operator's records.

Settle any outstanding amount owed to you before you delete: once the account is gone we can no longer verify your bank details. Email support@parkkway.app first if a settlement is still pending.
